The solar shades themselves are fine, but the consultant failed to measure the windows for squareness. So the shades had to be installed with shims, which looks awful. She also neglected to show us the mounting hardware (not the hardware that rolls the shades, which she did show us.) It is ugly and there is no way to hide it without buying valences. Further, there was a factory mistake with the cords, and it took THREE TRIES to get the new cords reordered correctly.

I had already ordered over $2,200 worth of shades for my entire apartment. Mine has a lot of windows. The Sonoma cornices looked terrible. Then, We tried to return a set of top tie curtains we bought for a special occasion and they were so rude about giving us our money back, so we are not going back there to find out goods, we will just shop.

We purchased a triple-cell curtains and drapes for our guest bedroom, and while the curtains doesn't get much use, it diffuses the light wonderfully, and looks great. It's considerably heavier than the single grand-cell though, so I'm worried that after more use, it'll have the same twisted cord problem, and hang poorly.
